Lisa Hjorten, Designated Broker & Founder

A long-time Puget Sound resident and serial entrepreneur, Lisa Hjorten specializes in the sale of homes and investment properties in King, Snohomish, Skagit and Whatcom Counties. Clearly her calling, Real Estate gives Lisa an outlet to serve others in an industry that is her true passion.   After graduating from the University of Washington, Lisa began a long and successful career in the technology industry.

In parallel with her technology career, Lisa bought, sold, remodeled, and developed properties for profit and pleasure. She has lived in or owned properties in nearly every area of King and Snohomish County. She served as her own contractor while building a 6,000 square foot home in Kirkland and later renovated a nearby cottage into a 3,800 square foot home. She’s also developed properties into builder-ready lots including a 12-lot plat in Woodinville and a 6-lot plat in Bothell. Lisa currently owns and manages over a half dozen investment properties and is always on the hunt to add another to her portfolio.

Lisa believes in giving back to her community and does so by serving on the advisory board of the Buerk Center for Entrepreneurship at University of Washington Foster School of Business. She frequently mentors student teams and participates as a judge and coach in business plan competitions. Lisa is also an avid supporter of Earthcorps, Haiti Babi, Kiva.org, and Homeward Pet. 

Rowena Toguchi, Managing Broker & Partner

Rowena has been a Seattle/Eastside resident for almost 30 years and cherishes many of her milestones here; from attending college, getting married, building a career and starting a family.    Prior to her real estate career, Rowena spent 16 years as a marketing & sales professional in the technology sector.  Much of that experience is applied to the last 7 years as a real estate professional where she has helped over 130 clients buy, sell and invest.  She believes in clear communications, being a good listener and working hard to get things done!  (and always with a smile and positive attitude. )  She has covered areas from Kent to Everett and Seattle to North Bend.  (and even some properties on Whidbey and Camano Islands).   

Rowena lives in Kirkland with her husband, Mark, and daughters, Zoe and Kaya.  (& not so mini Goldendoodle, Grizzly).  High energy and always on the go, Rowena enjoys spending time and traveling with her family, Karaoke and hot yoga.   

Sue Lao, Operations Manager

Before working in real estate Sue had a successful career as a Financial Analyst at Boeing and most recently Evergreen Hospital. She earned her Bachelors from Central Washington University. In her spare time, you can find Sue spending time with her family. She loves to watch her daughter grow and take her on many adventures.
